DOES ADVERTISING TODAY RELY TOO MUCH ON SEX AS AN ELEMENT OF PERSUASION?
Yes, I do believe this is true. Some ads are even uncomfortable to watch with family members because of the sexual references. This is crossing the line. I think advertisers need to find a new way to sell their products, much more like the Old Spice commercials that rely on humour.
